Harmonies galore with this legendary Country quartet
The young whippersnappers of modern Country owe a lot to Dwight Yoakam. Once shunned by the Nashville elite, the pioneering singer-songwriter is credited with paving the way for Country music's acceptance in the mainstream. His 'hillbilly honkey tonk' stylings earned him a following of fans that called themselves 'Cow-Punks' in retaliation to the polite Country Pop of the late 70's.
Hold onto your hats, Jon Pardi is hitting the road. Since releasing his debut single in 2012, Pardi has been praised for his neo-traditional style and has seen huge success in only a matter of years. His single 'Your Heart Or Mine' continues to gain success by receiving over 20 million streams! Don't miss your chance to catch this rising star, live.
Going strong since 1940, this gospel and country quartet (composed of Joe Bonsall, Duane Allen, William Lee Golden, Richard Sterban) were inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2015. Celebrated for songs such as 'Elvira', 'Bobbie Sue', 'Touch a Hand, and Make a Friend', 'Gonna Take a Lot of River' and 'American Made', the group continually tour and perform, even collaborating with newer artists.
Denton, TX native Cody Jinks's career took a sideways turn in his early days when he formed a thrash metal band, before heading back to his first love, country. His first album, 2015's Adobe Sessions charted in Billboard's regional Heatseekers charts at No.2. His second album dropped in 2016, entitled I'm Not the Devil and instantly debuted at No. 4 on the Top Country Albums chart. But more recently he was lauded for covering Pink Floyd's Wish You Were Here', and made his national TV debut on Conan with his single, I'm Not the Devil.
A Country Music institution, Asleep at the Wheel have been honing their bouncy brand of Western swing revivalism for over four decades, blending jazz and country to infectious effect. Among their best known tracks 'The Letter That Johnny Walker Read', 'Choo Choo Ch'Boogie' and 'Route 66'.
Austin-born singer-songwriter Parker McCollum is relatively new on the scene, releasing his debut album, 'The Limestone Kid', in early 2015. But don't let that fool you - he's swiftly become one of country musics' ones to watch. Make a date to see this rising star live on stage and discover what makes him such a special new sound.
